Life After Menopause

Having battled through the innumerable problems women  face during menopause, comes the next period of self management. Life after menopause has many advantages and some challenges. Biologically there are two types of loss that must be managed:  loss of bone and muscle. For both there is incontrovertible evidence that exercise is probably the ONLY solution, apart from medicine where benefit comes with side effects. In this post I plan to keep track of all new information emerging through studies and research that can help us do the right thing and manage the challenges better than before.
