Karela (Bitter Melon) Good for Diabetes

Harvard Medical School has an article on Alternative Therapies. This articles provides the grading system devised by Natural Standard, an international research collaboration that compiles and synthesizes data on complementary and alternative therapies. Te good news is that Karela a vegetable eaten across India in some form or other, even juiced and pulped has been given grade B which means “There is good scientific evidence for this use.”
